01 / SET UP
Give every group a complete route.
Start with anonymous groups, topics and each station’s teaching limit.
Groups
2–8 fixed groups · 1–60 people each. Use anonymous labels.
Topics
2–8 topics. One visit per topic; one round per topic.
Stations
2–12 stations. Duplicate a topic across stations when needed. Each station hosts at most one group per round. Teaching limits are your input, not venue safety capacities.
Timing
One day, no midnight crossing. The final round has no transition after it.
02 / AUDIT LIMITS
Check the bottlenecks first.
Extra slots for one topic cannot make up for a missing visit to another.
03 / CHECK ROUTES
One group. One station. Every topic.
Generate a candidate or choose each station manually. Use Up/Down on a route field, then verify this revision.
Deterministic search: up to 100,000 nodes or 1 second. A search limit means “not found yet”, not “impossible”.
04 / PRINT & MATERIALS
A pack you can check, then carry.
Master schedule, group routes, host cards, coverage and supplies use the same project revision.
Materials
Consumables add all rounds. Reusables use the busiest round, assuming they can be reset during transitions and shared between applicable stations. Otherwise split them into separate rows.
Execution pack
Uses your browser’s print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” there if available; this app does not generate a server PDF. Check paper size, scale and margins before printing.
HELP & PRIVACY
Keep the plan small and explicit.
How to make a usable pack
- Set up 2–8 anonymous groups, 2–8 topics and 2–12 stations. Give every station one topic and a teaching limit of 1–60 people.
- Audit topic supply and the limits that affect your larger groups. A preliminary pass is not a verified schedule.
- Generate or edit routes. Each native select works with the keyboard. Verify the current revision.
- Add materials, verify again after changes, then print the pack or download routes CSV. Download JSON to keep the complete project.
Scope
This is for adult workshops, peer training and conference demonstrations. Groups stay fixed; every group visits every topic exactly once. Rounds equal topics. No breaks, partial curricula, station downtime, pair-matching constraints, dates, time zones or midnight crossing. Teaching capacity is not a fire, access or venue safety calculation. Do not enter names, personal addresses, personnel evaluations, medical or legal information, or children’s information.
Validation and drafts
Any edit changes the revision and locks the execution pack. Old routes remain a draft until verified again. A valid generated candidate is independently checked before verification. An interrupted or unfinished search cannot prove impossibility. Draft printouts are diagnostic only. Previously downloaded files cannot be recalled; compare the revision on every sheet before use.
Materials math
For each actual visit matching a material’s topics, multiply its quantity by the group size (per person) or by one (per group / occupied station). Sum rounds for consumables; take the maximum round for reusables. Empty stations add nothing. Zero quantity is a known zero; missing or invalid routes show totals as unavailable.
Local data and backups
Your project and any chosen backup are processed locally in the browser. The planner does not send your content or filenames to a server, put them in URLs or logs, or use analytics, remote fonts or third-party scripts. The hosting provider serves the site and handles normal request metadata.
The default project lives only in tab memory. There is no automatic storage, sync or recovery. Download JSON explicitly to save on your device; protect or delete that file yourself. Restore accepts JSON up to 256 KiB with bounded nesting and schema checks. It previews a replacement before applying it atomically; imported verification is ignored and routes are checked again. Only one project is active per tab. Clearing replaces only this tab’s project.
Browser support
Designed for current desktop Chromium with JavaScript, Web Workers, FileReader, Blob downloads and browser printing. Mobile editing is supported at 375px. Print layout is intended for desktop A4 or Letter. Unsupported worker environments can still edit and validate manually. Once loaded, the planner works disconnected; offline reopening is not provided. Native file dialogs, printer drivers and physical output can vary.
Why six stations may still be too few
Consider six groups and four topics over four rounds. Two stations teach A, two teach B, one teaches C and one teaches D. C and D each provide four visits but each needs six. Their two-visit deficits cannot be filled by A or B. This is a synthetic example, not a customer result.
Evidence and independence
Adult rotating-station methods are documented by Liberating Structures. A community scheduling question illustrates duplicate-topic constraints; it does not establish participant ages or demand from adult trainers. We are not affiliated with these sources and do not reproduce their method materials.
Free planners already exist. This tool’s usefulness, frequency of demand, acquisition costs and willingness to pay remain unvalidated. It has no paid plan, revenue claim or traffic claim.
